At MIPS, we are committed to ongoing education by enabling our members to continue their professional development in a variety of ways.

MIPS’ workshops and modules are free of charge for members, and Premium Support Scheme (PSS) recipients can use these to fulfil Medicare's risk management requirements. For further information on the PSS click here.

Risk Management Workshops

Bookings are now open for the risk management workshops to be held in Spring 2008. These workshops are FREE OF CHARGE to all MIPS members!

Over 4,000 MIPS members have attended a free MIPS risk management workshop. These workshops are developed in conjunction with the Cognitive Institute, who conduct the workshops on behalf of MIPS for all members. We encourage you to set aside a couple of hours to attend one of our workshops. Not only will you develop your skills in identifying risks and implementing risk mitigation strategies – you will also earn significant CPD points!

Should your preferred workshop be booked out, you will be offered the opportunity to be added to the waitlist for that session and will then be contacted should a vacancy arise. If you are unsuccessful in gaining a placement, MIPS will give you priority notice for the next round of workshops in 2009.
