Board warns overseas doctors of fraudulent registration and employment racket

A warning has been issued by the Medical Board of Australia to international medical practitioners to be wary when handing over money or official registration documents to anyone who claims they are able to arrange medical registration in Australia.

International medical practitioners play an important role in Australia's health workforce and there is concern that doctors from overseas could get misled or deceived.
