Dental event: Your field of practice - Know your boundaries (6510)
In Adelaide for the Australian Dental Congress? MIPS would like to extend an invitation to MIPS members attending the ADC to also register for a special presentation in the setting of the Gil Langley Room overlooking the manicured lawn of the prestigious Adelaide Oval.
Light refreshments from 6pm. Formal presentations 6.30pm to 7.30pm, then a panel Q&A. We have allowed up to an hour but it will depend on the number of questions from attendees.

Dr Gerard Clausen, MIPS Clinico-Legal Adviser and Heidi Peacock, Associate Lecturer at Charles Sturt University, Bachelor of Oral Health will outline some of the specifics in practice when it comes to indemnity and how you can protect yourself professionally.
Regulatory matters discussed will be:
- Scope of practice – Board guidelines and registration standards
- Recency of practice – how this is considered by the Board and requirements
- Comments on contemporary issues
