Medical Training Survey

MIPS encourages all doctors in training to take the Medical Training Survey that you are invited to complete when you update your annual registration with AHPRA.

AMA President, Dr Tony Bartone, said the MTS in an important opportunity for Australia’s 30,000 doctors in training to tell medical educators, employers, governments, regulators, their peers, and the next generation of medical students what to expect with medical training, and how it can be improved.

While there is certainly anecdotal evidence that doctors are stressed and that pre-vocational training has deteriorated, the industry needs to be able to quantify this and then measure the success of initiatives to improve training. Without data, this cannot be achieved. For this reason, MIPS encourages all doctors in training to complete the survey.

You can ONLY access the survey from the 'AHPRA confirmation of registration' email. Find out more at the Medical Training Survey website.
