Webinar: Securing cyber resilience for you and your practice

Understanding the cyber security threat environment for medical and dental healthcare practitioners and implementing good cyber hygiene in your practice.

Cybercriminals are increasingly targeting healthcare practices due to the wealth of sensitive information. Understanding why health practices are a target, what the threats look like and how to implement basic cyber hygiene is critical to mitigate the risk in your practice. This webinar offers a ‘behind the curtain’ look at the digital environment and the threats of the dark web.  We will examine ‘live’ case studies, and deep dive into the trends you need to know about and simple take-aways to help ward against a cyber-attack.

Learning outcomes

  • Identify key cyber security threats in general practice.
  • List key cyber hygiene practices that can optimise safe and secure technology use.
  • Discuss the importance of instilling a culture of cyber resilience in general practice.
