Terms and conditions for MIPS competitions

Information on how to enter and prizes for all MIPS competitions form part of these terms and conditions. Any entry not complying with the relevant terms and conditions is invalid. Entry is open to residents of Australia who are over 16 years and are eligible MIPS members. Specific entry requirements and eligibility for each competition apply and are listed below. Employees of MIPS, associated companies, and their immediate families are ineligible to enter. MIPS reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process, including but not limited to making multiple entries, or for otherwise submitting an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions.

MIPS is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Each entry becomes the property of the MIPS. All details will be held in accordance with the MIPS Privacy Policy which can be accessed by visiting mips.com.au/privacy or calling 1800 061 113. MIPS' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

In the event that a prize item is unavailable despite MIPS' reasonable endeavours to procure within Australia, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a different prize item of equal or greater value.

By entering the competition, each entrant agrees to the use of their entry statement for printing, broadcast, publicity and promotional purposes, including but not limited to MIPS’ website/s and social media pages without compensation, and agrees that MIPS will own all intellectual property rights, including copyright, in any such material. Corporate Wardrobe Competition

Terms

  1. Contest commences at 6am Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Mon 2 July 2018 and closes at 11:59pm Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) on Thursday 31 January 2019.
  2. The winners will be drawn on Monday 4 February 2019 by digital random selection.
  3. Entry is open to all MIPS members.
  4. Any entry not complying with the terms and conditions is invalid.
  5. Entry to the Contest is via online form: https://www.mips.com.au/wardrobe
  6. Each entry is made with a unique code which is provided by MIPS (on a ‘wardrobe’ marketing flyer)
  7. You may enter once per unique code provided on a wardrobe flyer.
  8. Your unique cost must be valid.
  9. Each entry has an equal chance to win one of the prizes.
  10. A draw is used to determine the distribution of the prizes.
  11. The winner/s of the Contest will be selected randomly (in a draw) by MIPS from valid entries and MIPS' decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
  12. Each winner receives one of the prizes.
  13. Winners may only receive a maximum of one prize regardless of how many valid entries they have made.

  7. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash without MIPS’ consent.

MIPS Calendar Photo Contest 2019 for the 2020 Calendar

Terms

Contest closes at 5pm (AEST) on Friday 20 September 2018. Entries to the competition will be judged according to the following criteria:

  • Primary
    • How well they capture the essence of what you love
  • Secondary
    • Originality
    • Quality of composition
    • Artistic merit
    • Representation of Australian hospitals
    • Representation of Australian states. 

MIPS will select the best photos based on the criteria to be used in the MIPS Calendar.

The final winner/s of the Contest will be selected by MIPS and MIPS' decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.

Conditions

Any entry not complying with the relevant terms and conditions is invalid.

Entry is open to all education professionals working in Australian hospitals.

Entrants may enter up to 5 images

  • any material that could constitute or encourage conduct which would be considered a criminal offence, incite violence or racism, or give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any law either of Australia trademarks or copyrighted material owned (in whole or in part) by third parties;
  • names, likenesses or other characteristics identifying celebrities or other public figures (living or dead);
  • any commercial content that promotes any product or service other than MIPS

The entrant indemnifies MIPS against any claim, legal or otherwise, that may arise out of publication of the image.
