Am I eligible for free recent dental graduate membership?

If you’ve graduated in the in the last five years, you may be eligible for MIPS Membership, to which we waive the fee for the first 12 months. As a member-based organisation, we’re here to support recent dental graduates both professionally and financially.

As a MIPS member you can continue to learn and start your career with confidence knowing that your covered in the unlikely event something doesn’t go to plan. Please note, new and recent graduates are not covered to perform minor cosmetic procedures or surgical placement of dental implants.

If you’ve commenced a dental specialist training program, you’ll need to apply for a dental specialist training basis.

MIPS membership ceases at 30 June each year. Other policies typically cease at 30 June or 31 December. Check with your existing provider for cancellation fees. You can pay your membership fee by monthly instalments at no additional cost.

Choose MIPS to protect your purpose

You can opt out of paying indemnity with other organisations and just have your indemnity through MIPS – this way you don’t pay twice for indemnity cover, and can benefit from our on-demand CPD and 24/7 support.
