Medical indemnity providers like the MIPS Group are required to provide information from practising medical practitioners twice a year in accordance with the Insurance Regulation Order, S21 of the Health Care Liability Act 2001. That information, which is collected and provided to NSW Health, is provided in an aggregate format so that individual practitioner responses cannot be identified.

The information now required is for the six month period, 1 Jan 2026 – 30 June 2026.

We would appreciate you giving it your urgent attention and responding no later than close of business 19th July 2026 as MIPS is required to provide the information to NSW Health within 28 days of the end of each period.
