Specialist medical practitioners

Personalised protection for Specialist medical practitioners.

As a specialist we understand that you may face a range of risks in your practice. MIPS is here as your partner through uncertainty to reinforce your confidence.

Our insurance cover provides protection for over 40 specialist categories, all with $20 million professional indemnity insurance.

If you’re like many specialists and split your time between hospital work and practice not indemnified by your employer, we can tailor your cover so you’re only paying to cover your specific level of risk.

A supportive network for your specialist practice

MIPS is your partner through uncertainty, whether you’re a specialist registered with Ahpra, undergoing specialist training or practising under supervision as an international specialist.

If work in your own practice and qualify as a sole practitioner, our practice staff cover protects you from the acts, errors and omissions of practice staff such as practice managers, receptionists and assistants in relation to the healthcare you provide. See the Member Handbook for full eligibility terms and conditions.
