Key Messages

  • Constantly upgrade technical skills, but always operate within your scope of practice
  • Be aware of risks and disclose to patient
  • Be honest
  • Know when to refer for specialist opinion or treatment
  • Notify MIPS – a policy requirement. Obtain and follow the advice
